Hello! I'm beginning my 11th week on BFL and my clothes are fitting better and I'm feeling really great (both when in the gym and throughout the day). BFL is awesome and is totally a program I can live with.

A discouraging note is that even though my body fat has decreased from 33% to 26% I've only lost 15 pounds.

I keep to BFL pretty rigorously. The only difference is that I have recently (in the past 3 weeks) doubled the cardio time and sometimes I don't get the 6th meal in. On my free day I usually pack away about 2500 calories with mid-fat clean food and a dessert (so not too crazy).

Any feedback is appreciated.

-Ben

With all the good stuff in your first paragraph, you'd be a fool to let scale weight discourage you. Sounds like you are doing an awesome job. Keep it up. If you truly can make fitness and clean eating a way of life then scale weight will take care of itself. And soon it won't even matter to you because you'll be much more concerned with body composition and performance. Just keep going!

If CrossFit was easy it would be your mom.

7% body fat is quite a bit to lose. Great job!!!

What was your starting weight?

What was your ending weight?

It's likely you gained muscle and muscle has weight to it, so you could have lost more fat lbs than 15 lbs, but gained a couple of lbs of muscle, which would come out to a scale weight difference of 15 lbs.

But ultimately, the scale is NOT  the end all way of measuring progress. It's only one part of the equation.

There are some people here who lost 0 lbs over 12 weeks!!! HOWEVER, they look alot leaner because they lost alot of fat lbs, but they gained an equal amount of muscle lbs.

I started at 257 (I'm 5' 7"") so I was in size 44 pants. Now I'm easily in 40s. Now I'm at 242. If I look 2 pounds a week I'll end at 238.

I for sure gained muscle. I can see it when I flex and of course in how much I can now lift.

This challenge ends for me on 8/31 and I'm going to take a week break (not going back to my old habits but maybe skip a few days at the gym) then on 9/7 I'm starting again.

I really do love this program

Just worry about how fat you are, not how much you weigh.

My wife was the one that bought the scale (she's not on BFL so she watches the scale weight). Without that I bet I wouldn't have looked so often.

Thank you for all the positive feedback. I'm gonna keep my head down and I look forward to continuing results!

My favorite inspiring truth is that one of our former Tracker members who won the BFL Challenge did not lose a single pound, but totally changed her body size and appearance.  Keep up the good work, you are doing a fantastic job!
