Some advice on weight and inches!!
Hey trackers....
I just finished my challenge..{pics up}. Not great not bad.... I changed things up the last 2 weeks and have dropped some weight, as I was really not getting anywhere with that. I really struggled with my food and cheats.... No more.
Soo.. I gained a couple inches in my upper chest....in the last month??? I lost a total of 12.5 inches and 16 lbs..
How do you lose weight but gain inches??? Or lose weight and inches don't go down?? I am soooo confused and kinda bummed...
I have such a long way to go.. kinda annoying.
Any answers or thoughts... thanks guys...

Barb--Congrats on finishing your challenge! Yeah you!! Do you have your pics in a side by side anywhere? I think that would really help you see more easily the changes you have made. Don't be bummed! You have a wedding coming up don't you? So much to look forward to and keep looking at that pretty dress to keep you going! Congrats

In general:
Your clothes get looser on you = good. Your clothes get tighter on you = bad.
Big picture, you dropped 16 pounds = good. Nothing to be bummed about.
Problem with measurements is consistency, reproducibility. Did you measure the same place? Did you have the tape measure tighter or looser than last time? Your clothes don't lie.
Long distance runner, what you standin' there for?

If it is just your chest then I would ask a couple of questions:
- were you wearing the same bra/no bra each time? -hormonal changes can cause increase in this area. -and as lenny said - could be measurement issues.
but really it comes down to this - if you have lost pounds overall, and lost inches everywhere else then you have been successful - honey be grateful your boobs aren't the first to go.
You done a good job thus far and whatever you are doing it is obviously working!

Thats guys....Oh I see a big change.. not as much as my first challenge but yes there is a good change...
It is not the boob thing, it is my upper chest that I gained 2 inches in.. and I am very carefull when I measure. My first challenge I lost 4 inches in my upper chest, it was awesome.. this time.. I was down 4ish then went up two.. blah..
Yes I know clothes tell the real story.. ha and pics, ya can't lie when your half naked.;D
