RFL - Labor Free Weekend

Hey my peeps!

1 pm and no thread.

I have a long run on tap this weekend, but I have to check my journal and see how far it is supposed to be, I'm thinking over 6 miles for sure. YIKES!!

It won't be a labor free weekend for me, I have a ton of stuff to do at my house, the weather is going to be gorgeous, but I do get to golf tomorrow morning.

What's up with you this holiday weekend?

If someone can fix this link so it shows on the page, have at it, I have more trouble with this.

Hi RFL

Yikes, yeah, Amy's gone, Michele hasn't been posting, and the rest of us are on other teams in addition to this one...

Good chiro appt (had a crick in the neck) and I did an old-fashioned LBWO this morning.  Also got in a 60 min yoga routine last night

Yes, thanks Jeanne.

All of that and a chiro appt. You are one tough woman!!

Hey is it ok to run everyday while I'm training for the 1/2 or should I just stick with the 2 short runs and a long one every week?

Hey ladies!! I just got back from a long ass bike ride with HR. I am leaving the office for the three day weekend and won't be posting again until Tuesday. I will be running a 10 miler on Monday if my body works with me. At this age, I never know.

I hope you all have a great weekend and by all means----------------have some fun!!!!!!!!!!

Hello sweet friends!

Julia have a great fun weekend, enjoy it.  I'm ready to let my hair down a little this weekend, but not sure what that will be doing.

Janice - I only ran 3-4 times a week for my half.  Don't know what the answer is but it worked for me.  I did do cardio 6 times a week, just rode the bike on the other days.

Jeanne - will you post the website for runners yoga again please.  My DH "cleaned" my computer and I lost all my bookmarks AGAIN.

Amy - hope you are having fun in NOLA - I haven't traveled there, yet.

Ok hanging out with the family tonight, but I'm itching to run away, not really run, just get out of the house.  We shall see.

Nicole, it's yogadownload.com.  They have a yoga for runners routine.  You can download a free 20 min, or the 45 or 60 min versions for, I think, $4.99 & $5.99.

Julia, good luck

Janice, I'd say 3 or 4 days/week.  RW has a half marathon plan that has you run 3 days/week.  More than 4 & you may be asking for trouble.  That's how it works with me.  I'm okay with that
