For all of you who, like me, missed out on the traditional Jan. 1st New Year the Chinese culture gives us a second chance. This year is special, especially to me, because cnce every 12 years the Chinese New Year rolls in the Year of the Dragon! Yes, I was born in the Year of the Dragon some many years ago. It is the only mythical animal in the Chinese horoscope/zodiac or whatever they call it. This year embody the Dragon! Be better than you are supposed to be. Let out your your ROAR!! Happy New Year Everybody!

Morning!
Thanks for starting us off last night DE.
Just got finished with Insanity. yikes. This thing is kicking my ass, but in a good way.
Weekend was good. We did a traditional free day on Saturday. I had forgotten how fun it can be to throw out all of the rules. I ordered bolognese...I never order pasta! We had a healthy breakfast and then just went out for lunch with the kids around 2:30. So it was really only a free meal.
So I am on a mini-mission to lose my 5 extra pounds by Feb. 26th. DH and I are taking a trip to LA that weekend. We got bleacher seats at the Oscars in a random drawing and I want all of my clothes to fit. So I am staying around 1300 calories per day for a couple of weeks to see if I can move the needle. I suppose I am going to have to track my calories. Ugh, I hate tracking calories. But, it does work.
Okay folks, have a great day!

My husband got a truck for my birthday.
Need to run today. I'm thinking 5 miles if my knee can take it.
I think you're smart, you sweet thing.

Year of the Dragon! Rahr! I pretty well had a Free Weekend. My stomach did not care for that decision. Which makes it really easy to be on track today. Meeting my gf at the gym this morning for elliptiKILL, UB and some ab work. We're busting out a two hour wkout. Probably a good thing. I do better at getting good wkouts in at the beginning of the week. I'm also off the sauce today and tmrw. Going out Wednesday night (my xmas gift to a concert) so that's out. Then, back on the wagon Thursday. That's all I got. Gotta go get dressed! Have a great day!

Morning all! No WO this morning because I was dumb and stayed up late reading a book. Silly me. UB Plyo on tap for this evening, though. Made some veggie & miso soup last night. The recipe needs tweaking but has potential.

Hey team, on my way out to the gym for LBWO (ugh) but just wanted t stop by.
Lost 3 pounds last week, not bad but less than I was hoping for in week 1. I didn't eat the best and workouts were pretty tame, by design, so hopefully I can knock off another 3-5 this week.
Hope everyone is hitting it hard, try to stop back in tongiht.
